Fibonacci diamonds

Indicator for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5

Fibonacci diamonds

When you’re monitoring whether the price is moving outside its current range, you need a clear point of reference. Fibonacci Diamonds display a channel and zones on the chart and highlight signals in the selected mode. You can also see which time frame the channel is based on.

Note when the price breaks out of the channel

The channel provides a reference point for price movement, whilst the zones help you spot when the price moves outside its basic range. You can see the channel levels and the calculation interval on the chart, so you can first assess the price’s position and then look at the signal markers.

Channel and zonesThey show the basic range and the areas above and below it.
Channel levelsThey help you to see its position directly on the chart.
Calculation intervalIt shows where the observed channel originates from.

Two ways of monitoring traffic outside the channel

The signal mode determines which events the indicator highlights on the chart.

Diamonds

Select these when you want to see the price break out of the channel and form further new extremes on the same side.

Arrows

Select them when you observe a breakout followed by a candlestick in the opposite direction.

A broader context without switching the chart

Are you working on the current chart but want to reference a channel from a higher timeframe? The indicator can select the base timeframe automatically or use a manual setting. For example, on an M15 chart, you can monitor a channel calculated from the H1 timeframe. A label next to the channel indicates which timeframe the calculations are based on.

Enter the required information on the chart

If you’re tracking several elements on a single chart, too many markings can make it difficult to read. You can disable zone shading, channel price labels or interval markings and focus on the information you need for your analysis.

Check your settings and availability

Open the manual to find out about the interval settings and the two ways of labelling signals. You can find the current range in the shop.
